As they say, “Many hands make light work!” The GRA is making a difference in Georgia politics, and with the help of more patriots, we can continue to increase that impact. Let us know if you would like to volunteer to assist with one of the following opportunities.

 

Technical Volunteer Opportunities

The Georgia Republican Assembly is looking for dedicated technical volunteers to support our mission. To better manage our digital needs, we have divided our requirements into two specialized volunteer roles.

ITgirl 300x191Role 1: Web & Systems Administrator
Focus: Infrastructure, Website Maintenance, and Hosting

Responsibilities:

Hosting Management: Oversee the organization’s hosted web account, including web hosting, email administration, and DNS management.

WordPress Support: Maintain the GRA website, ensuring core software and plugins are up to date.

Content Updates: Use WP Bakery to build and update pages, ensuring a professional online presence.

Security: Monitor site health and manage backups.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with WordPress and WP Bakery.

• Experience with cPanel/hosting environments and DNS configuration.

Bonus: Light HTML/CSS or PHP skills for custom website tweaks.

 

ITguy 300x256Role 2: Data & CRM Specialist
Focus: Member Data, Email Marketing, and Migration

Responsibilities:

CRM Migration: Lead the transition from fragmented tools (Constant Contact, MailChimp) to a centralized CRM repository.

Data Management: Organize and maintain the central database of members, activity, and events.

Marketing Automation: Streamline email marketing workflows and event tracking.

Integration: Ensure data flows correctly between the website and the CRM.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., CiviCRM, HubSpot, or similar).

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms.

Bonus: Light programming/scripting (Python or similar) for data cleaning and automation.
