As the Chair of the Public & Community Health Committee, Rep. Sharon Cooper is responsible for blocking many good bills that would promote greater medical freedom in Georgia, while favoring legislation that would support “Big Pharma.” She has refused to give a hearing to bills that would protect the lives of pre-born babies, that would protect children from harmful vaccines, that would allow midwives to practice more freely in Georgia, etc. Meanwhile, she has held a hearing in her committee to explore the “benefits” of euthanasia and she has permitted bill to be voted on that would provide greater corporate welfare to the medical industry.
