2026 GRA Endorsements
Here is the list of candidates who have been endorsed by the GRA in 2026 at our GRA State Endorsement Convention and by local regional and chapter endorsement conventions reported to us:
GRA State Endorsement Convention: March 21st
Congratulations to all the Republican candidates who won the GRA’s endorsement at the 2026 GRA State Endorsement Convention in Gainesville!
Thank you for everyone who participated in our endorsement convention as well. We had a great time interacting with many candidates for various offices, voting on who to endorse, and passing resolutions.
GRA conventions have been a great opportunity for fellow grassroots patriots from across the state to network and be encouraged that they are not the only citizens who are passionate about ensuring the Republican Party actually stands for the policies and principles it professes!
Here is a list of the candidates the membership chose by a two-thirds majority to endorse:

• U.S. Senate: Mike Collins (won the Republican nomination)

GRA Endorsed Candidates for Local Offices
In addition to our wonderful array of state and congressional endorsements, the GRA has endorsed some real heroes & heroines for local office! For example, check out these proven principled candidates for State House, support, and vote for them if you live in their districts!
• State House District 20 (Cherokee County): Charlice Byrd (won the Republican nomination)
• State House District 47 (east Cherokee & north Fulton): Brian Cochran (made it to the runoff)
• State House District 81 (Henry County): Noelle Kahaian (won the Republican nomination)
• State House District 159 (Screven, Bulloch, & Effingham Counties): Nathan Hooks
• State House District 13 (Floyd County): Kristie Miner
• State Senate District 54 (Murray, Whitfield, & Gordon Counties): Marty Brown
• Cobb County Commission District 1: Keli Gambrill (won the Republican nomination)

14th Congressional District GRA Regional Endorsement Convention
Out of the 17 candidates who qualified to run as Republicans in the 2026 Special Election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene, former State Senator Colton Moore (R-Dade) won the endorsement with 90% of the vote at the convention! (A two-thirds majority is always required to win the endorsement of the GRA.) That expressed remarkable unity by GRA members in the district.
10 of the 17 candidates RSVP’d to the event, and 9 of them showed up to present. You can watch the video of their presentations on our YouTube channel here. After the Q&A, only one other candidate was nominated for consideration for endorsement besides Colton.
Moore previously served under the Gold Dome as a state representative and then as a state senator earning the highest vote score of any state legislator when we compared his voting record to Republican principles such as limited government, free enterprise, the right to bear arms, and the sanctity of life.

In the Special Election Jungle Primary on March 10th, Colton Moore came in second place among the crowded field of 17 Republican candidates, and so he did not advance to the runoff with Democrat Shawn Harris. He remained on the ballot for the May 19th Republican Primary Election and continued to be the GRA’s worthy endorsed candidate in the 14th Congressional District until that Primary Election was completed.
